About Knitwear Club
‘Cooperate to compete’ is the objective that conceived Knitwear Club way back in 1984. It was the vision for mutual progress that brought together the Knitwear and allied industries which is more than 100 years old and holds the title of “Mother Industry” to a common platform. A humble beginning with 110 members to a patronage of 700 direct members is anything but evidence of club’s achievement.

We are extremely delighted to inform all our members that efforts of Knitwear Club (Regd.) have been recognized and
rewarded with the re-implementation of the Restructured Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (R-TUFS) 2012-13. It was the prolonged demand of the industry. We are really thankful to the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textile, Govt of India for the pursuance of this decision in the meeting of ‘Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee’ held on 18.5.2012.We appeal our members to take the benefits of this scheme.

We welcome you to the official website of the Knitwear Club (Regd). A noble and non-profit making body, the Club epitome’s democratic principles in its administration are being manned by an elected team of office bearers and nominated executive body. Contributing to the dedicated growth of knitwear industry, problems related to economic, technical and commercial issues are taken up with respective government agencies. Representation and recommendation on the behalf of entire knitwear / textile industries is another privilege of the Knitwear Club.
